Geneva Show: Lamborghini's hardcore Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce




Santa Agata's new top of the line model is a lighter, more powerful and even faster Murcielago LP 640 that will be produced in a limited run of just 350 units. With the output of the 6.5 liter V12 increased from 630HP to 670HP and a weight reduction of 100 kg (220 lbs) that was achieved by redeveloping the car in every aspect – from chassis to engine and transmission, right through to the interior, the all-wheel drive Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of around 342 km/h (212 mph).

The SuperVeloce is equipped as standard with Lamborghini's sequential, automated manual transmission e.gear while as a no-premium option, it is also available with a six-speed manual transmission.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce The most extreme version of the Murcielago to date can be easily identified on the outside by its new front and rear, the transparent engine bonnet and the unique forged alloy wheels clad in 245/35 ZR 18 Pirelli rubber up front and 335/30 ZR 18 atr the rear. Buyers can also choose between two different extra-large carbonfiber rear wings. With the small standard-fit rear spoiler, top speed stands at 342 km/h (212 mph), while the large "Aeropack Wing" and its added downforce gives a top speed of 337 km/h (209 mph).

The interior of the Murcielago SV is dressed in Alcantara and comes with a set of lightweight carbon-fiber bucket seats. The door panels are also clad in carbon fiber, as is the wide center tunnel.
